Project Accountant (Japanese Speaker) 項目會計(日語)– Shanghai
Description:
The Project Accountant is responsible for providing a solid foundation of analysis for the firm's projects and business practices by managing contracts, ensuring fiscal health of assigned projects, and mentoring and supporting the project management for Tokyo Office.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Project Managers, establishing successful business relationships and ensuring accurate and consistent billing and financial reporting at the project and studio levels Maintain organized project contract files Understand contract terms as it relates to fee management Assist Project Managers in performing project start-up due diligence and following Firm best practices throughout the project life cycle Interact with clients and consultants in a professional, courteous manner Review project work plans, budgets, and staffing plans for appropriateness to fee Provide accurate invoices to clients per contract terms Coordinate consultant invoices and payments per contract terms Review project labor and expense charges with Project Managers for accuracy and appropriateness Monitor studio accounts receivable and assist Project Managers with collection efforts Monitor, analyze, and report on variety of metrics at the studio level to ensure healthy business practices; become the studio leader for matters related to finance. Requirements:

Position Summary:
The Contracts Manager is part of Gensler's corporate Legal Department. The position is located in Gensler's Shanghai office and reports to the General Counsel in San Francisco. The Contracts Manager is responsible for contract review and negotiation, ongoing project support for legal/contractual issues, liaising between local management and the corporate Legal Department and outside legal counsel.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide contract support for offices within China, which presently include Shanghai and Beijing and the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau. Communicate contract policies/procedures to project teams. Review requests for proposals and proposed contract terms and conditions for consistency with contract policies/procedures. Prepare proposal responses related to contract terms and conditions and insurance requirements. Support contract negotiation as needed. Prepare form documents and project correspondence. Develop and maintain basic contract templates and standard language. Assist the Regional Counsel and project teams to prepare project documentation related to potential or actual legal issues. Liaise with the Regional Counsel and outside legal counsel as needed for legal research and claims support. Support issuance and renewal of local practice licenses/registrations. Assist the Regional Counsel to prepare and present education materials related to contracts and other legal topics. Qualifications:
At least 7 years of experience in a related field (e.g., design/construction, contracts management, procurement, professional liability brokerage or coverage). We are seeking a creative, motivated and highly collaborative individual as a Marketing Manager for Shanghai office
The goal of Gensler’s marketing team is to support the growth of new client relationships. This requires strategic thinking and ability to analyze the market, understand/profile the customer and the competitors, interpret Gensler's brand and past experience in light of specific client needs, and communicate our approach in both written and graphic form in a way that differentiates Gensler.
Activities include: working with multiple design directors to develop proposals which communicate Gensler's approach to specific clients and projects; research; graphic design, writing and editing; production of collateral materials, and project management of multiple marketing efforts.
The position requires you to be an excellent communicator, problem solver and action-oriented team player. Must be committed to client service, and poised under pressure. Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:
8-10 years experience, primarily as a marketer in a professional services environment Experience managing significant marketing projects independently, working closely with senior staff on marketing programs, and managing small employee teams Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or other liberal arts Excellent command of English and Chinese Writing Skill: Ability to take disparate information and craft compelling prose from scratch, as well as edit information from multiple sources for voice and tone. Proven ability to write persuasive written communications. (samples required) Graphic Design: Strong conceptual design ability. Able to design and execute exceptional information design in print. Experience with multimedia (such as Flash, video) preferred. Two years experience as a Graphic Designer preferred.
