Topic: Urban Design of Mountain City’s Waterfronts
背景：為配合2005年10月11-14日在重慶召開的“2005年亞太城市市長(zhǎng)峰會(huì)”，在重慶市規(guī)劃局的支持下，重慶大學(xué)建筑城規(guī)學(xué)院和澳大利亞昆士蘭科技大學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院聯(lián)合舉辦此次大學(xué)生國際設(shè)計(jì)競(jìng)賽。
Background:
Cooperating on the 2005 Asia Pacific Cities Summit, hosted by the City of Chongqing, China, 11- 14 October, and supported by Chongqing Urban Planning Bureau, the International University Student Design Competition will be organized by Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, Chongqing University, China, and School of Design, Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
目標(biāo)：2005年亞太城市市長(zhǎng)峰會(huì)的主題是“城市、人、自然”，結(jié)合該主題，通過對(duì)山地城市重慶特殊的地形、生態(tài)和社會(huì)文化及政治環(huán)境條件的把握，創(chuàng)作出富有挑戰(zhàn)意義的濱水區(qū)城市設(shè)計(jì)。
Objective:
As the 2005 Asia Pacific Cities Summit will explore the theme of ‘City, Man and Nature’, focusing on the theme, the objective of this competition is to design a challenging waterfront area based on understanding specific landform, ecology and the multiplicity of social, cultural, and political factors of the Mountain City, Chongqing.
要求：本次設(shè)計(jì)競(jìng)賽基地位于重慶市江北區(qū)濱水地帶，具體設(shè)計(jì)范圍和有關(guān)資料見本次競(jìng)賽附件。了解現(xiàn)有的該區(qū)域的城市框架性設(shè)計(jì)研究成果，在選定的范圍內(nèi)進(jìn)行城市設(shè)計(jì)。所有參賽作品必須證明其對(duì)山地城市濱水區(qū)環(huán)境的理解，在設(shè)計(jì)中體現(xiàn)復(fù)合使用功能的概念、合理安排交通、提供公眾使用的公共空間場(chǎng)所和各類綠地、強(qiáng)化其特色，并具有靈活性以滿足城市未來發(fā)展的需要。
Requirements:
The site is located at Jiangbei District, Chongqing, China. Study area and related information are given in the enclosed materials. Realizing the existing study of urban frameworks, the skeletal structures design of Jiangbei District, the project’s design team may develop an urban design project within the study area. The project must demonstrate understanding the waterfront context of mountain city. In addition, the project should be intended to: present the concept of mixed-use; provide healthy transportation system; provide public space as places of shared use and a range of green spaces; reinforce the character and identity of study area; and meet needs to be flexible enough to urban future changes in use.
獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)：一等獎(jiǎng)一名：獎(jiǎng)金5000美元
二等獎(jiǎng)二名：獎(jiǎng)金1000美元
三等獎(jiǎng)七名：獎(jiǎng)金500美元
